Made Local Marketplace is a community-driven retail space currently located in Montgomery Village, Santa Rosa, with a second location opening soon in Novato. Our store showcases the talent and creativity of local artisans, makers, and small businesses, emphasizing craftsmanship, sustainability, and originality. We aim to foster a sense of community and support local entrepreneurs by curating handmade, small-batch, and locally inspired items such as gifts, home goods, art, apparel, and specialty foods.
We are seeking a community-minded, results-driven Retail Manager to lead our new store opening in Downtown Novato. The ideal candidate values local connections, excels in customer service, and has a strong background in retail operations and leadership. This is a full-time, on-site role, preferably for someone currently based in Novato or with Marin County roots. The Retail Store Manager will oversee daily store operations, manage staff and liaise with the owner and makers, ensure customer satisfaction, maintain store appearance, manage inventory, implement loss prevention strategies, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and work towards achieving sales targets.
