Job summary

DXL Group, the largest specialty retailer of men's Big + Tall apparel, is seeking a Retail Store Manager in Corpus Christi, TX to lead a high-performing team and deliver an unmatched guest experience.

You will coach selling skills, manage operations, and ensure the store meets sales plans while upholding a culture of diversity and belonging. Travel to nearby stores may be required; a high school diploma and supervisory experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus.
• 2 years of experience in a Store Manager role.
• 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Willingness to travel to neighboring store locations.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a table service approach to guest engagement by spending time with customers to learn needs and lifestyle.
• Ensure store meets sales plans while monitoring customer service, inventory, expense control and risk management.
• Coach and train selling skills and operational procedures for a superior customer-focused team.
• Serve as product knowledge expert to Sell and market a broad range of apparel including private labels and brands.

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

We are looking for a self-driven and results-oriented Retail Store Manager who combines outstanding leadership and store management skills, as well as the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team, within a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure each guest feels welcomed by spending quality time, asking questions in order to learn about his/her needs, preferences and lifestyle
• Ensure the store meets sales plans, while monitoring customer service, inventory, expense control, and risk management
• Build a superior customer-focused sales team by providing on-going coaching and training for selling skills, behaviors, and operational procedures
• Serve as a product knowledge expert with the ability to sell and market a broad range of apparel, including private labels, name brands, and tailored clothing

ARE YOU A FIT?

Specific qualifications for this role include:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree, a plus
• 2 years of experience in a Store Manager role
• 4 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Previous involvement working in a commission oriented environment, a plus
• Willingness to travel to neighboring store locations
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and move up to 50 lbs.
