Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Store Manager in Adel, GA to lead store operations, drive sales, and supervise associates. You will train staff, ensure excellent customer service, and safeguard assets while upholding company policies.

You will build community relationships and implement merchandising directions from corporate HQ. This full-time role requires strong leadership, communication, and retail management experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs (55 lbs occasionally) from floor to above shoulder height.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull and lift repeatedly.

• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations

• Build strong relationships with the community by actively engaging in outreach and partnerships
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures
• Implement operational and merchandising direction that is communicated from our corporate headquarters

Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members is required
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Retail management experience is preferred
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height is required
• Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
