Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Store Management Trainee to learn the day-to-day operations, develop leadership skills, and build a career in retail operations across diverse merchandise including jewelry, electronics, and tools.

You’ll work with store leadership to gain hands-on experience, coach teammates, manage inventory, and drive performance through sales and loans while adhering to procedures and store standards.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a HS diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with various merchandise; firearms in FFL locations (cert provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with retail POS systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service in a customer-focused environment.

Store Management Trainee

$16.50 - $22.81 per hour

+ Unlimited Commission + Store Performance Bonus

We're looking for an ambitious Store Management Trainee to join our team! If you're ready to develop your leadership skills, gain hands-on management experience, and build a career in retail operations, this could be the opportunity for you.

As a Store Management Trainee, you'll work alongside store leadership to learn the day-to-day operations of the business while developing the skills needed to lead a successful team. You'll gain experience in customer service, employee development, inventory management, store operations, and business performance while working with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and more.

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with retail point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas

Commission Information

Store Management Trainees can earn 2-8% commission based on individual performance and may be eligible for additional bonus opportunities based on overall store performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
