Minuteman Food Mart is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to collaborate closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will oversee inventory, coaching, and store operations to maintain high standards of presentation and performance.

The ideal candidate brings leadership experience in retail, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to motivate a diverse team. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework/degree a plus.
• Experience in retail, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to coach and develop a diverse team while ensuring policy compliance.
• Familiarity with inventory management, visual merchandising, and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving sales growth, revenue targets, and profitability.
• Provide guidance and coaching to the store team; foster a positive work environment.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team; ensure policy compliance.
• Improve customer service, build loyalty, and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in ordering to meet demand.

• Control labor costs and other operating expenses to meet budgets.
