GOAT USA is seeking a Retail Store Assistant Manager at Garden State Plaza to lead daily operations and deliver top customer experiences. You’ll coach and develop the store team, manage inventory, and work with the Store Manager to drive sales and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong communication, leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Capable of lifting or moving heavy products up to 50 pounds.
• Must work every Monday, days of restocks, and one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including scheduling, shift coverage, and task delegation.
• Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to shifts.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to drive performance and accountability
• Assist in hiring, training, and ongoing development of store employees
• Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Partner with the Store Manager to execute company initiatives and store goals
• Drive sales by supporting GOAT USA sales strategies and team performance
• Oversee inventory management, including restocking, organization, and accuracy
• Open and close the store, including registers, cash handling, and security procedures
• Maintain store supplies, including cleaning and operational materials
• Coordinate inventory flow and stockroom organization
• Fulfill online and in-store pickup orders accurately and efficiently
