Job summary

ALDI Brand is seeking a Store Associate in Pelham Manor, NY. The role involves stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store presentable. You’ll work with the ALDI team to deliver excellent customer service and a smooth shopping experience for guests.

The position is full-time, with 30+ hours per week and starting pay at $18.50 per hour, increasing annually to $20.50. Prior retail experience is preferred for better performance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and POS system.
• Ability to follow store policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases and report scanning concerns.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving efficiency and loss goals.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
