Job summary

SanAntonioShoemakers is seeking a Retail Store Associate to join our Knoxville location. The role involves greeting customers, helping them choose shoes, measuring feet, and ensuring proper fitting with SAS products.

You will manage daily POS transactions, assist with store opening/closing, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, strong communication, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Must obtain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day store opening and closing procedures per SAS standards.
• Make weekly bank deposits.
• Provide a friendly greeting and engage customers in conversation.
• Help each customer try on shoes, measure feet, and fit SAS footwear.
• Show different categories of shoes, handbags, and shoe care products.
• Operate POS systems for sales, returns, charges, checks, and transfers.
• Develop product knowledge and convey enthusiasm for SAS products and philosophy.
• Be ready to work scheduled times.
• Complete special projects in a timely and effective manner.
