Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Santa Maria, CA is hiring a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the back of house operations and manage store merchandising flow. You’ll supervise deliveries, coordinate workload, and ensure safety and policy compliance in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes leadership development, teamwork, and delivering great guest experiences while supporting growth across our nationwide stores. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, and flowing goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization meet standards.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to prevent shortage.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload for efficient operations.
• Accountability for team productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates and recognize performance; assist in recruiting and onboarding new staff.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support community relations through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.

Requirements:
