Job summary

Burlington Stores in Madison, WI is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House operations and coordinate receiving, unloading, and merchandise flow to the sales floor. Work closely with store management to drive efficiency and team performance.

This role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price or big-box settings, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor)
• Ensuring back of house cleanliness, set-up and organization are at standard
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to reduce shortages
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines
• Direct associates and workload; coach and recognize performance
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
• Drive community relations participation through company programs

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
