The position involves managing merchandise processes, ensuring organization and safety, and nurturing a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, a positive attitude, and is able to handle lifting store merchandise. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.

This leadership position is the stepping-stone to a management role within our expanding organization. You’ll be an integral part of the store leadership team, working closely with Store Management as the main leader and director of the Back of House area.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression processes (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, set-up, and organization are maintained to standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to prevent shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload; be accountable for team productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
