Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Apple Valley is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead back‑of‑house operations, oversee receiving, sorting merchandise, and ensure smooth flow to the sales floor.

You will direct associates, manage workload, promote safety, and participate in hiring and training. The role requires at least one year of supervisory experience in off‑price or big‑box retail, with willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big-box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization are at standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to guidelines.
• Direct associates and workload; accountability for productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates and provide recognition; assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new associates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor)
