Job summary

Harbor Freight Tools in Wilkes-Barre Township is seeking an Assistant Manager (full-time) to join a high-performing retail team. You will lead store operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer service during early-morning to late-evening shifts.

The role offers a projected hourly range of $26.75–$29.43, plus a monthly bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and paid time off.

• Ensure and model professional customer service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store.
• Cross-train in all areas of store operations.

• Serve as Leader on Duty as scheduled.
• Be a subject matter expert in your role and model best practices.
• Ensure items are in stock and priced correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.

The anticipated range for this position is $26.75 – $29.43 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for a monthly bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
