Job summary

Harbor Freight Tools is seeking a capable Assistant Manager in Erwin, NC, full-time, to join a high-performing retail team. You’ll lead, coach, and develop staff while maintaining excellent customer service and a safe, organized store environment.

The role offers a monthly bonus opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) plan. Paid time off accrues up to 152 hours annually, with holidays observed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and model professional customer service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store.
• Cross-train in all areas of store operations including Stocking/Sales duties.
• Lead, coach, and develop others.
• Serve as Leader on Duty as scheduled.
• Be a subject matter expert in your role and model "Great Place To Work" behaviors.
• Ensure items are in stock and priced correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Our Assistant manager (full-time) is a valued member of a high performing team who is empowered & equipped to do their job. The anticipated range for this position is $25.50 – $28.05 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for a monthly bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
