Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on keeping shelves stocked, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting merchandising efforts in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, dispose of waste, and maintain a safe store. Overnight shifts are available, and teamwork is essential to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Entry level role focusing on stocking, customer service and merchandising.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
