Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves fully stocked and well-presented, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for customers. The role emphasizes care for organization, adherence to processes, and teamwork.

You will work in a fast-paced store environment, often overnight, to prepare for the day ahead and support leadership in completing assigned tasks. Weekly pay and growth programs accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Familiar with basic technology.
• Able to follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backroom areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
