Job summary

Princess Polly Online Pty Ltd in New York, NY is seeking a Retail Stock Lead (SoHo) to oversee back‑of‑house operations and lead a high‑performing team. You will manage inventory, shipments, stockroom organization, and seamless stock flow with store leadership to ensure best in class customer service.

The role requires 3+ years in retail with stock or back‑of‑house experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

About the role

Our Stock Lead embodies drive, enthusiasm, and a natural talent for inspiring others. They're entrusted with overseeing store opening and closing duties while cultivating exceptional customer service, serving as a cornerstone within our dynamic and fast-paced retail setting.

Supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, they lead the team in achieving exceptional customer experience, sales goals and upholding operational efficiency. Ready to step up as manager on duty, they exhibit leadership and accountability as needed, motivating our team through constructive feedback, development and training. Their passion for retail and strong leadership skills make them an invaluable asset as we strive to create an unforgettable in-store experience for our customers!

What you’ll do

• Lead and support all back-of-house operations, including inventory management, shipment processing, stockroom organization, replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Partner with store leadership to ensure efficient stock flow, support sales floor replenishment, and maintain a seamless in-store experience.
• Support the execution of operational processes and company standards, ensuring the stockroom and sales floor remain organized, clean, and visually appealing.
• Help lead, motivate, and develop the team by promoting accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities to improve stockroom efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall store operations.
• Build brand loyalty and awareness by supporting a seamless customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to our company Values, innovative Business style, People Leadership principles, and outstanding Customer First approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail experience, preferably in stock, inventory, or back-of-house operations.
• 1+ year of experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet operational deadlines.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to teamwork and store operations.
• Great sense of style and an understanding of the Princess Polly brand.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Compensation Range

• $21-24/per hour
