Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor to guide a team in daily store operations, including merchandising and donation flows. The role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, production, and customer service outcomes.

The ideal candidate will train staff on POS and donation systems, monitor performance, and maintain a safe, efficient, and mission-driven work environment in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Willing to learn POS and donation systems.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of business mathematics.
• Lift/carry up to 40 pounds; stand for long periods.
• Comfortable with temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily store operations by directing workflow, assigning tasks, and ensuring merchandise and production standards are met.
• Assist with training, coaching, and guiding team members in customer service, merchandising, production, and POS procedures.
• Contribute to meeting store sales, expense, and production goals by monitoring performance and maintaining efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and mission standards in a clean, organized environment.
