Job summary

EZPawn in Henderson, NV is seeking a Retail Shift Manager (Lead Pawnbroker) to lead our team and drive exceptional customer service in a fast-paced pawn environment.

You will supervise store Team Members, process loans and extensions, and promote sales while coaching staff to achieve targets and provide a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of common pawned items is a plus.
• Sales background is a plus; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build relationships while promoting sales and making deals on pawn items.
• Lead and coach team members to maintain a friendly, respectful store environment.
• Perform opening and closing procedures; manage loans and extensions as needed.
• Support and develop staff through coaching and leadership training.

You will provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers, all while promoting sales and making deals for a wide variety of pawn items. Other Shift Manager duties include:

• Processing loans and extensions
• Coming to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned
• Performing opening and closing store procedures

Requirements for the Retail Shift Manager (Lead Pawnbroker) role:

The ideal candidate will possess an engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation talents, and the ability to read and manage customer needs. You should also be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment as well as strong time-management and prioritization skills. It is also important you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build solid ongoing customer relationships. Additional requirements for the role include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 years of supervisory, key holder, or team/shift lead experience
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
• Sales background, a plus
• Bilingual, a plus
