Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Retail Shift Lead to supervise daily store operations and guide a team to deliver excellent customer service.

You'll ensure a clean, safe environment, manage schedules, handle cash, and train staff. This role emphasizes leadership from within and growth opportunities within the Love's network.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and leadership experience are required.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling is preferred.

Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility, along with adherence to proper safety procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and optimal customer service.
• Assist the management team with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and manage cash register operations.
• Supervise and train team members, fostering a positive work environment.

Experience:

• 1+ year of experience in retail management and/or team leadership
• 1+ year of proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash register operations
• 1+ year of training and/or developing teams

Skills and Demands:

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.
