Job summary

The Michaels Companies Anchorage store is seeking a part-time Seasonal Retail Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist customers with purchases, and help keep the store clean, stocked and welcoming.

You will process transactions, unload trucks, stock shelves, and assist with BOPIS and SFS operations as needed. This role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes, and working during nights, weekends, and early mornings as part of a seasonal schedule.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Comfortable with handling merchandise and performing stocking duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Handle checkout and cash transactions accurately to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Support Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in store recovery and merchandise presentation to keep shelves in stock and well‑merchandised.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; maintain safety and shrink programs.

Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
