Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider in North America, seeks a full-time security professional in Florida. You will ensure safety by patrolling retail locations, handling incidents, and enforcing site policies.

The role emphasizes customer service and vigilant reporting to prevent theft and maintain secure environments. The schedule includes weekday and weekend shifts, with a pay rate of $21.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience or equivalent evident in job listings.
• Guard card or license required where applicable.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
