Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations to monitor access points, screen individuals and items, and provide welcoming, professional service to shoppers and staff while deterring incidents.

You will join a dedicated team, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and report concerns in accordance with site procedures, with hours across morning and overnight shifts and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, members, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and emergency responses as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization, and screen individuals and items per site procedures.
• Observe activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned areas as directed.
