Job summary

Securitas USA in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Security Officer/Guard to observe and report activities at client sites, providing for property and personnel safety. The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Security Officer/Guard

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
