Job summary

Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, investigating incidents, and reducing theft through strategic analysis. A sworn officer with firearm license is preferred, along with good communication and conflict management skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years full-time experience as a sworn police officer with arrest authority.
• Valid license to carry a firearm.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgement and conflict management under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in Wegmans stores to create a positive shopping and working environment.
• Analyze trends and data to maximize sales and minimize loss due to theft.
• Monitor activity to prevent loss, including apprehending and processing shoplifters.
• Foster collaboration with community partners and emergency responders.
• Coordinate use of all CCTV systems.
• Respond to emergencies and provide guidance to employees and customers.
• Conduct investigations as directed by leadership.
