Circana is seeking a Retail Scan Associate for a permanent part-time role averaging 12-19 hours per week across multiple Grand Rapids stores. You will visit designated grocery locations, scan barcodes, and collect data to help improve product and retailer performance.

Some extra hours may be added for special projects throughout the year. The role offers workplace independence, flexible hours to accommodate personal schedules, and consistent daily activity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Must have reliable Wi-Fi and basic tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly in-store data collections at assigned retailers.

Job description

This is a permanent PART-TIME role. The base hours for this position average from 12-19 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours (typically 1-2 hours per week per store) are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. Full scheduling details will be reviewed during the interview.

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

What does a Retail Scan Associate do?

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Work with major brand retailers and small independent retailers across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores.
• Use a downloadable app on their mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned each week.
• Report to your store within the described deadline.
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store, which occurs every week and can take several hours to finish.
• Fulfill Custom Projects requested by clients, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store each week.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines for data delivery to clients.
• Demonstrate dependability and quality-driven action in exchange for independence, flexibility and a rewarding opportunity.

Qualifications

• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
