Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with safety policies and practices.
• Ability to follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Cash handling knowledge.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience with IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas and set up sidewalk displays when needed.
