Job summary

James Avery Artisan Jewelry seeks a Store Supervisor for the Grand Morton Town Center location in Katy, TX. You will assist Store Management with in-store supervision, directing personnel and delivering top-tier customer service as part of the Retail Store Leadership Team.

Responsibilities include resolving guest issues, monitoring service levels, overseeing guest returns, training associates, managing inventory, and supporting opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent with a minimum 1-year retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Pass a background check as well as an alcohol, controlled substance, and illegal drug screen that meets Company standards before beginning.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to train staff and lead store meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Resolves guest issues effectively.
• Keeps supervisor informed of product, guest, and personnel issues.
• Monitors and approves guest returns in accordance with retail policies.
• Monitors associates guest service levels; provides feedback as needed.
• Utilizes GUESTS program when interacting with guests on sales floor or phone and when handling guest owned jewelry.
• Prepare and review supply orders from the JAC warehouse and for other items.
• Lead store opening and closing duties.
• Provide leadership and training to associates across responsibilities, coordinating regular training.
• Assist in inventory processes, including cycle counts and shipping/receiving, following company procedures.
• Conduct regular store meetings and participate in events and promotions.
• Develop team-building activities and monitor retail product trends.
