Job summary

Staples in Cleveland, TN is seeking Retail Sales Supervisors to lead the store team, engage customers and drive sales, conversions and service. You will focus on providing total solutions and a great in-store experience.

• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks.
• Assist with completing and delegating operational tasks with the GM.

Essential skills and experience:

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs

• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services

• Must be able to and want to engage with customers and understand their needs

• Effective communication skills, organization, and adaptive to changing business priorities

• Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others

• Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment

• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner

• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information

• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
