Job summary

Staples is hiring a Retail Sales Supervisor in Clarksville, IN. You will oversee front-of-store operations, drive sales and conversions, and engage customers with complete solutions. Hiring immediately with opportunities for in-person interviews after applying.

• Perform Floor Leader role to direct the team for a great customer experience.
• Champion company initiatives and adapt to changes or additional duties.
• Remain available and support an engaging environment.
• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks; delegate operations with the GM.
• Peer coach team on behaviors to win and deliver results through role playing.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.

Essential skills and experience

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs
• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services
• Must be able to and want to engage with customers and understand their needs
• Effective communication skills, organization, and adaptive to changing business priorities
• Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
