Job summary

Safeway is seeking a Retail Sales and Store Support team member in Hawaii to maintain clean, organized aisles and assist customers throughout the store. You will help customers locate items, answer questions, stock shelves, and keep displays attractive and correctly priced.

You will rotate products, participate in inventory, and support backroom organization while staying engaged in a fast-paced environment with varying tasks across departments.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old or 18+ depending on role requirements (as applicable).
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop; help customers locate items and answer questions.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain displays and signage; update pricing.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and backroom organization across departments.
• Maintain store standards and provide a welcoming, fast-paced shopping environment.
