Job summary

IKEA is seeking a part-time, permanent team member to assist customers with home furnishing solutions in-store. You will help customers, keep the floor tidy and well-stocked, and act as a product expert to inform shoppers about solutions. You will also guide customers toward top-selling items and assemble displays for new introductions.

We value teamwork, a positive customer experience, and a commitment to a better everyday life for the many. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

1 year experience in retail sales, preferably in home furnishings.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work weekends and part-time hours.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing day to day

Assisting customers and providing advice on the best solutions for their homes.
Keeping your sales floor tidy, priced and fully stocked to give customers a positive shopping experience.
Acting as an expert and consultant on a broad range of home furnishing solutions, products and services to inspire and inform customers.
Guiding customers toward top-selling and prioritized products.
Assembling display products for the introduction of new products.

The hourly pay range for this role is $23.23-$32.82
