Job summary

Spectrum seeks a Retail Sales Specialist in Tysons, VA. You will be the face of Spectrum, promoting our Internet, TV, mobile, and voice products to existing and new customers.

You’ll drive sales while delivering exceptional customer care and maintaining store standards. Responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, educating customers on promotions, and building strong relationships with shoppers in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Strong performance in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the latest technology and devices.

The base pay for this position generally is between $18.20 and $30.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $7,674.
