Job summary

Staples in San Diego is seeking a Sales Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service and help customers find total solutions both in-store and at the kiosk. You will contribute to a friendly, team-oriented retail culture and participate in immediate training.

Responsibilities include staying current on technology products, assisting on the sales floor, and helping the Tech department achieve key metrics while remaining flexible with duties such as cashiering and merchandising.

Essential skills and experience:

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs

• Strong customer service experience

• Demonstrated ability to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs

• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment

• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner

• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information

• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously

• Preferred but not required: experience selling products or services
