Spectrum is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist to be the face of our brand in our stores, promoting and selling our broadband, video and mobile services. You will drive sales, deliver excellent customer care, and educate customers about product benefits in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and comfort with technology. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; previous sales or service experience is a plus.

Working Conditions

Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Strong performance in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the latest technology and devices.
• 1-5 years of sales/customer service experience.

A qualified applicant's criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $18.00 and $24.53. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $16,882.
