Job summary

R. L. Jordan Oil Company - Hot Spot Convenience Stores is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service at the Hot Spot location.

You will stock shelves, ring up orders, maintain store cleanliness and follow security procedures. You will assist store management and handle daily operations with accuracy and professionalism. Successful candidates are dependable, able to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock refrigerator units with drinks and perishable goods.
• Stock and merchandise product.
• Ensure prompt reconciliation of store operations paperwork.
• Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Clean front/face and restock shelving, displays, and coolers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and facilities.
• Able to use lottery, money order, check cashing, gas, and prepaid phone card machines.
• Prepare shift reports accurately.
• Follow all required procedures for robbery prevention.
• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with store operations.
• Follow company policies and procedures as well as state and local laws concerning alcohol, tobacco, money orders, ephedrine sales, and lottery sales.
• Periodically check parking lot, pumps, trash cans, towels and windshield wash for customers and stocked during shift.
