Job summary

Staples is hiring Print Supervisors in California to lead a team in selling total print solutions and supporting customers' print and marketing goals. You will foster a collaborative, customer-focused store culture and help drive store results.

In this role you will connect with customers, provide creative print options, and coach associates in service, consultative selling, and total solutions. You will also use Salesforce.com to manage relationships and contribute to a positive, fast-paced

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
• Experience directing a team and supervising others while managing many priorities.
• Basic computer skills to open, save and send electronic files, email, and use Microsoft Word (or similar programs).
• Attention to detail and keen eye for noticing quality issues.
• Experience overcoming objection and engaging with customers to understand their needs.
• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously.

• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
