Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock and present merchandise, and keep the store clean. You will unload shipments, build displays, rotate stock, and assist shoppers in locating items, while processing transactions at the register.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic cash handling skills. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Open, unpack cartons and place items on shelves; stock and rotate merchandise.
• Build and rotate displays; restock as needed.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and operate cash register to total purchases.
• Maintain store cleanliness and comply with policies; assist with ordering using hand-held scanners.
