Dollar General is seeking staff to serve customers, stock and merchandise the store, and operate checkout. You will help maintain plan-o-grams, assist shoppers, and ensure a clean, organized sales floor.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, friendly service, and teamwork to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets. Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Basic cash handling procedures and math skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock shelves or move merchandise to sales floor.
• Build and stock merchandise displays; rotate stock and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating products.
• Greet customers and operate the cash register; total purchases and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners; keep front of store clean.
• Follow company policies and procedures; help set up sidewalk displays when needed.
