Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an team-oriented associate to join our retail operation in a fast-paced store environment. You will help customers locate merchandise, stock shelves, and maintain plan-o-grams while supporting efficient checkouts at the front end.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, building displays, and assisting with inventory using handheld scanners. Prior experience with IBM cash registers and basic math is helpful, with high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise to the sales floor.
• Follow processes to receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register; total purchases and bag items for customers.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners when needed.
