Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate in Wisconsin to act as the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, build displays, and operate the cash register. You will follow processes to receive shipments, unload trucks, and maintain clean store areas while safeguarding company assets.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks that bring merchandise into the store.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in the stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases and bag items; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Maintain clean front-end and assist with sidewalk displays when required.
