Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a team member to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and help maximize store profitability and satisfaction. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and assist with ordering using handheld scanners.

The role requires basic math, cash handling, and the ability to follow merchandise presentation guidelines. Frequent walking and standing are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock or move to sales floor.
• Build and stock displays; rotate and face merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
