Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and help maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting customers, operating the cash register and scanners, and helping with store cleanliness and display setup. This is a full-time role in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with locating merchandise.
• Operate and cashier with a cash register and scanner to total purchases.
• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on shelves and backroom.
• Build displays and rotate stock; restock as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and protect company assets.
