Dollar General is seeking a front-end associate to provide friendly customer service, stock shelves, and operate the cash register at our New Bern store. The role emphasizes accurate pricing, plan-o-gram adherence, merchandise presentation, and safe, efficient store operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
• Basic math and cash handling knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Stock and face merchandise; restock recovered items.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag items; collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store clean; front-end setup and sidewalk displays when needed.
