Dollar General is seeking a store associate to support daily operations in our local Ludowici, GA store. You will unload deliveries, stock shelves, build displays, assist customers, and operate the cash register to complete sales. This role emphasizes accurate cash handling, attention to plan-o-gram guidelines, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

We value reliability, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and receive/unpack cartons and totes.
• Store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and stock/face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and rotate stock.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register and process payments; bag merchandise.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners as needed.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including front end and sidewalk displays.
