Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and unpack cartons/totes for stocking.
• Receive, open, and store merchandise; stock floor and stock room.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register; itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Clean store areas including front end, walkways, and restrooms.
