Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an enthusiastic team member to act as the customer point of contact, assist with planograms, stock merchandise, and help customers locate items. You will process sales at the register, bag purchases, and ensure accurate cash handling.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, and maintaining store cleanliness. Prior cash handling experience is helpful; HS diploma preferred. This role supports fast-paced retail operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock or move to sales floor.
• Build and stock merchandise displays; rotate and face items.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store clean and organized, including front end and stockroom.
