Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a customer-focused associate to act as the point of contact for customers and assist in setting up plan-o-grams and programs. You will stock merchandise, build displays, rotate stock, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and handle transactions while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The role may involve assisting with merchandise ordering and keeping the store organized to maximize profitability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock shelves and move merchandise to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Restock recovered merchandise and maintain clean shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and greeting customers.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
• Clean front end of store and maintain restrooms and stockroom.
