Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and face items on shelves.
• Stock merchandise and rotate it as needed.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Bail cardboard and manage trash; clean store floors, restroom and stockroom.
• Greet customers and engage with them.
• Operate cash register and handheld scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep front end clean and help set up sidewalk displays when needed.
