Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a store team member to act as the point of contact for customers, help maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and support store profitability and teamwork while protecting company assets.

You will unload trucks, stock and rotate merchandise, assist customers, operate the cash register, and help with displays and front-end cleanliness. High school diploma preferred; strong interpersonal skills and basic math are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures and math.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the store.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays and plan-o-grams.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate the cash register, total purchases, and make change.
• Stock, face, and restock merchandise; keep store clean and organized.
